Hotelintro stayed at this hotel! This 5-star establishment truly embodies Thai culture and hospitality. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and attentive. A unique aspect is the sight of doormen in traditional Thai garb, enhancing the authentic vibe. The hotel boasts a storied history, inaugurated in 1967 by the Queen of Thailand, with historical photos on display. Despite its heritage, the hotel is wonderfully updated, marrying classic allure with modern comforts. The lobby is especially striking, featuring a piece of art by a National Artist of Thailand, making it an inviting spot to unwind. Our room was spacious, cozy, and elegantly done – with a beautiful view. Watching the city lights from our room at night was memorable. The hotel also offers a pool and a well-equipped gym, ideal for relaxing and wellness. The breakfast was exceptional, with a wide selection of Asian and European cuisine. Options include pancakes, waffles, omelets, alongside sushi, noodles, and rice dishes. The hotel's restaurant is also outstanding, having won a Michelin award in 2019 and 2020. Popular among local professionals for lunch, the dishes really stand out! We loved the signature chicken rice with sauces. We also sampled Pad Thai and a coconut milk-based dessert, all were remarkable. Its location is ideal – placed in the Siam area, close to Patpong Night Market, surrounded by shopping streets and hotels. MBK Center is only a 25-minute walk away, making it a superb base for exploring Bangkok. We recommend this spot for those seeking luxury, comfort, and genuine Thai culture.
