Pay homage to Phra Serm and Phra Sain at Wat Pathum Wanaram

Phra Serm, located at Wat Pathum Wanaram, is an ancient Buddha statue in the Lan Xang-Vientiane art style. It is one of the three sibling Buddha statues: Phra Suk, Phra Serm, and Phra Sai. This Buddha statue is crafted in the Lan Xang-Vientiane style, seated in a cross-legged posture on an ornate throne, in the Maravijaya posture. Its unique feature is the flame-like finial on the head, which tapers and curls at the tip.
