Secret Chinese food in the heart of Yaowarat

🏘 Laoteng 楼顶 A secret Chinese restaurant in the heart of Yaowarat. It is said to be secret because the restaurant is on the 2nd floor. You have to walk up the stairs to get there. If you are afraid of not being able to find it, the restaurant is right next to Mr. X's Kuay Chap.

⛪ When you enter, the first thing that catches your eye is the decoration of the restaurant, which is unlike any other Chinese restaurant. The restaurant plays with lights and modern decorations, making it look very unique. There are neon lights with words written on them so that you can take cool pictures.

🥟 The restaurant's signature menu item is definitely dim sum. There are black dumplings, money bags, fried tofu skin stuffed with shrimp, and many other dishes to choose from. But if you are a fan of crispy pork, you must not miss this. Another menu item that we like is the purple yam lava buns. The dough is soft and has a sweet purple yam aroma. When eaten with the filling, it tastes sweet and creamy, making it a perfect match.

🦆 The restaurant also has a Peking duck promotion, reduced from 1,200 baht to 720 baht (the day we went was 17/09/22).

😍 I must say that this is another Chinese restaurant that you shouldn't miss. The food is delicious, the service is good, and photography enthusiasts will definitely love it.
