Marble Temple in Bangkok: Wat Benchamabophit

#bangkok Wat Benchamabophit, also known as The Marble Temple is the fusion of elegant Thai art & marble originating from Italy. This temple is such an architectural gaze, a piece of art in Bangkok, though not as popular as other temples in the city. I went in the afternoon, surprisingly spotting barely five visitors around! It was very calm & peaceful 🕊️ The garden around is also nice and you can sip a drink including coffee ☕️ from the little ‘café’ at the back of the temple with a small sitting space.

The temple opens at 5 am and apparently before 8 am, you won’t have to pay for the entrance ticket 🎟️. Otherwise, it’s a 50 baht fee for foreigners. 👚Dress respectfully with shoulders & knees covered.

➡️How to go? I went by taxi 🚕 ordered via Grab app from the city center.
