Introducing “Second-hand Foreign Bookstores” on Khao San Road

‘Book Lovers Shop’ is a hidden bookstore on Khao San Road. This place is a treasure trove for readers and a favorite shop for tourists in Soi Chana Songkhram.

I happened to walk around Khao San Road and came across this shop with a sign that says “Book Shop.” The shop is quite clean, bright, and airy.

The books are arranged from the front of the shop to the back. The books are categorized quite well. For example, the Fiction section is separated by letters, which makes it easier to find the book you want. For those who like to read comics, most of them are on the 2nd floor. But I was in a hurry that day and didn’t go up. What a shame.

If you like reading rare books, old books, or foreign language books, I highly recommend coming here. There are many categories of books, such as Military Books, Historical, Fiction Books (fiction lovers can’t miss this place! There are so many!), Auto/Biography, Psychology, Sport, Comics, etc.

In addition to English, the shop also has French, German, Japanese, Chinese, Spanish, and Italian books. If you’re practicing your language skills, you can come here to improve your reading skills. ; )

Most of the shop’s customers are foreign tourists who come to walk around Khao San and stop by. Like the day we went, we got 2 French friends because we were standing around looking at books, Leonardo da Vinci's books in the French language book zone.
