Kuishan Park, adjacent to the Huaihai Campaign Martyrs Memorial Tower, was renovated from the existing Kuishan Park and designated a key municipal project. The park rests on Kuishan Mountain, also known as Kuishan Mountain. Legend has it that the Kuishan Tower towered above, beneath the tower stood the Kuixing Pavilion, where Kuixing, the star of literature, was enshrined. In the minds of Confucian scholars, Kuixing held supreme importance. Based on this legend, and considering the abundance of schools and a strong cultural and educational atmosphere in southern Xuzhou, as well as the park's location near the Huaihai Campaign Martyrs Memorial Tower, a renowned patriotic education center, the decision was made to transform the park into an open-air park themed "encouraging learning and inspiring aspirations."
