The new fried chicken craze – Korean-style Gyochon Fried Chicken

Today, we visited the Qiaocun Fried Chicken Global Branch, located at B1, No. 7, Section 2, Xianmin Avenue, Banqiao District, New Taipei City. It was packed when it first opened, so I decided to wait until the craze died down before trying it. Takeout is less of a wait, but you can't order fried chicken for takeout.

We waited in line for about 20 minutes that day. There weren't many seats inside. We ordered the honey flavor, which was quite good with a crispy skin, but the flavor was strong and greasy. We loved the accompanying white radish, which was a nice touch. I also thought the potato chips were better than the fried chicken; they were unique, not greasy, and the slices were thin and crispy.

Different countries have different styles of fried chicken, so it's nice to try something new.
