The Peaks Rise Like Dragons

Kowloon Mountain, true to its name, stretches like nine dragons rolling and twisting between heaven and earth. Climbing in the early morning, the mist has yet to disperse, and the pine forest carries a moist and refreshing scent. The sound of footsteps echoes along the mountain path, as if whispering with the ancient mountain spirits. Occasionally, I pause at the edge of a cliff, gazing at the peaks surging like waves, and a sense of grandeur and reverence fills my chest.

With each level ascended, the view becomes broader, and the sound of the wind grows more intense. I think, if these nine dragons truly have souls, they must be guardians of this vast and profound land. Kowloon Mountain has taught me that climbing is never about conquering; it is about engaging in a dialogue with the heavens and earth, reconciling with oneself as you step closer to the heights. The mountain speaks no words, yet in its silence, one finds echoes.
