The first house designed by Gaudi: Casa Vicens, Spain

Casa Vicens is said to be the first house designed by the famous Gaudi.

It is a little far from the main area where Gaudi's works are gathered, but it is in Barcelona and can be reached in 5 minutes on foot from Fontana Station.

Gaudi is often associated with curved lines, but this house has very impressive straight lines.

The lamp in the smoking room in the 5th photo was very nice.

There are fewer tourists than other Gaudi works, so you can take your time and enjoy the view.

On the way from the subway to Casa Vicens, we stopped by a local ham shop, which was very kind to tourists. I also recommend stopping by there.
