I went to Batu Caves in Malaysia!

#AsiaTravelRecord

I'll introduce you to Batu Caves, which most people will visit when they visit Kuala Lumpur!

Don't expect much. The stairs are steep, so if you're worried, it's better not to go. Even with the handrails, it's scary😭😭😭

There are monkeys everywhere🐒
It's scary... I didn't really understand even when I went inside the cave. After climbing up and taking a breath, the tour is over...

Batu Caves is a large limestone cave group located on the outskirts of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and is apparently famous as a holy place for Hindus.

The Batu Caves are centered around a temple dedicated to Lord Murugan (the god of war), one of the main deities of Hinduism.

In particular, the annual "Thaipusam Festival" attracts pilgrims from all over the world and holds a grand ceremony.

It is a large cave that can be reached by climbing a long staircase (272 steps), and the ceiling is high and spectacular. There are several Hindu temples inside the cave.

The 43-meter golden Murugan statue at the entrance to the cave is one of the largest in the world. This statue is a popular photo spot for tourists and devotees! ︎

Impressive🔥

🚃Access
Location: About 15km north of Kuala Lumpur city.
Transportation: Take the KTM commuter line and get off at Batu Caves station and you can access it on foot.

※It is recommended to go by taxi🏃♀️
The train service is not very good, so it is not expensive from the center of KL, so it is better to go by grab!
