I arrived alone in front of the Ali & Nino statue on the Batumi beach around 7 p.m., and the timing was perfect! I waited in line to see the statue performance, which began sharply at 7 p.m., and the romantic atmosphere made it feel completely comfortable, even alone.
💕 Ali & Nino Statue Highlights Guide
Moving Magic: The approximately 10-minute performance that began sharply at 7 p.m. was truly spectacular! The scene where two 8-meter-tall giant figures slowly approached each other, briefly overlapped, and seemingly embraced before parting was truly moving. It embodies the tragic love story between an Azerbaijani Muslim boy and a Georgian Christian girl, and it was truly heartbreaking to see in person.
The Magic of Dusk Lighting: The sunset, combined with the natural light and the statue's LED lights, created a fantastic atmosphere. The silhouettes against the Black Sea were truly a work of art!
🎡 Miracle Park & Amusement Park Perfect Itinerary
The giant Ferris wheel at Miracle Park, located right next to the statue, is a must-see! During the evening, the neon signs light up one by one, transforming the entire park into a magical experience. Even solo, riding the Ferris wheel felt effortless, and the view of Batumi's cityscape from above was truly spectacular.
Recommended itinerary: Watch the Ali & Nino performance (7 p.m.) → Stroll around Miracle Park → Ride the Ferris wheel (around 8 p.m.) → End at a beachside cafe. This sequence is perfect!
💡 Solo Travel Tips
It's crucial to arrive before 7 p.m. to secure a good spot! There are benches in front of the statue, so you can sit comfortably and enjoy the view. The performances tend to be crowded, so grab a spot early.
📸 Best Photo Spot: Stand slightly away from the statue to capture the Black Sea in the background in one frame!
