Beihai! A resort hotel where you can see the sea just by opening the window

We stayed at two hotels during this family trip to Beihai. We stayed at the Sheraton Beihai Hotel first (I wrote about it in my previous post), and then we stayed at the Beihai Silver Beach Kaiyuan Mingdu Hotel. The difference was obvious when we compared the two.
Beihai Silver Beach Kaiyuan Mingdu Hotel is a great place for a family trip and to relax.
๐ฅฐ Waiting to check in | Although it was the peak summer season and the hotel was fully booked, we had to wait for the room to be cleaned. However, the hotel lobby was spacious enough, with a tea and snack area. The tea and snacks were free and self-service. There was also a conference room next to the tea area where cartoons were shown. Even if the kids had to wait for a while, they wouldn't get bored.
๐ Butler service | When checking in, the front desk staff asked if we needed butler service. If we did, the butler would add us on WeChat. This was great because it showed respect for the guests' wishes. If we didn't need it, we wouldn't be disturbed. The butler service was also very prompt and responsive. During peak dining hours, when the delivery robots were busy, the butler would personally help deliver takeout to the room.
๐๏ธ Room | We stayed in a sea view room, which had a view of the pool and the lively beach. The hotel is located in the Silver Beach Scenic Area, and we could hear the beach manager blowing a whistle from the room. It wasn't too noisy and was acceptable. One minor complaint is the design of the corridor in the room. It was open and had no air conditioning, so it could get a bit stuffy in the summer.
๐ There was a detail in the room that impressed me. All the unused sockets on the wall had protective covers. I've stayed in many family-friendly hotels, but it's rare to see such attention to detail. They really thought of everything.
๐ฅฐ Pool | The pool was spacious, and there were plenty of lounge chairs. There were three sections, water play equipment, a bar, and water play rings for rent.
๐ซถ Beach | The sunrise and sunset were beautiful! You could walk to the beach from the pool. The hotel provided many children's sand play tools, which you could pick up for free at the pool (you just needed to scan a QR code and follow an account, which was very simple). The beach was shared with the scenic area. The sand was fine and you could walk barefoot. The seawater was relatively clean, although it couldn't compare to Sanya. When there were many tourists, it was better to walk a bit further to the left from the hotel to the beach, as there were fewer people there.
๐ Restaurant | The food was varied and delicious, but the only complaint was the layout of the food area. It could get a bit crowded during peak breakfast hours.
๐ Surroundings | There were food stalls, restaurants, and supermarkets across from the hotel, which were all very convenient. Takeout could be delivered within half an hour.
