Northerners love to spend winter in Beihai.

On Weizhou Island, we need to plan every step carefully. Buy tickets in advance to avoid missing the opportunity to visit the island due to a shortage of ferry tickets. Also, pay close attention to the weather, as it directly affects our travel experience.

On the island, we need to be cautious when choosing transportation. Do not trust the recommendations of private tricycle or motorcycle drivers, as they may lead you to expensive but not worthwhile restaurants and hotels.

If time is limited, it is not recommended to visit the Underwater World, as it is similar to many other cities' Underwater Worlds. Although the variety of marine life is not rich, the ticket price is not cheap. However, our love for the island makes us not want to miss any beautiful scenery. The sunset at Shiluokou and the sunrise at Wucaitan are both excellent viewing spots.

When walking on the rocks, be sure to wear shoes, as the stones are slippery and can easily cut your feet. Also, only "Crocodile Mountain" is a ticketed attraction, while other attractions do not require tickets. However, this does not affect our exploration and appreciation of Weizhou Island.

As for transportation, electric scooters are undoubtedly the best choice. Riding around the island and feeling the romantic sea breeze will surely intoxicate you. Both Jintan and Yintan have their own merits. Jintan has fine sand and a fishing village atmosphere, while Yintan is better for watching the sunset. However, no matter which beach you choose, be sure to take sun protection measures, as the ultraviolet rays by the sea are very strong.

In terms of food, the food on Qiaogang Style Street is similar to that on Old Street. If time is limited, you can choose one of them. Personally, I recommend Qiaogang Style Street, where more delicious food awaits your discovery. Among the beaches in Beihai, Yintan has the most extensive sea area, while Zixia Bay is small but has its own charm. The sunset at Dadunhai is also breathtaking and will leave a deep impression on you.

On Weizhou Island, we should not only enjoy the beautiful scenery but also pay attention to safety and experience. Only by doing so can we truly enjoy the fun of travel.
