Between the liveliness of Beihai's Silver Beach and the ship horns of Weizhou Island, Puyue Homestay (International Passenger Port Branch) stands quietly like a secret garden kissed by ocean waves, nestled in the lush greenery of Haitai Villa Area.
Design
The building facade retains the original European-style framework of the villa area, yet incorporates oriental Zen aesthetics through raw concrete and natural wood elements. Sunlight filters through perforated brick walls, painting patterns in the corridor, while rough-textured pottery jars whisper "the poetry of imperfection."
Rooms
The sea-view deluxe room features 270° floor-to-ceiling windows framing Silver Beach's waves as living oil paintings. A stargazing skylight adjoins the bathtub, complemented by a custom-made Slumberland mattress and hand-dyed bedding. A tatami tea room comes with parent-child craft kits.
Dining
Serves traditional Beihai snacks like Danjia seafood congee and shrimp cakes, with hand-brewed coffee using Vietnamese border beans. For meals (reservation required), try the chef's signature stir-fried grouper with sour bamboo shoots, featuring fresh catches from Qiaogang Port.
Surroundings
Walk to "Lovers' Cliff" at Silver Beach's west end—a secluded wedding photography spot with 80% fewer crowds than the main beach. Drive to Qiaogang Folk Street for must-tries: "24 Desserts"' taro balls and "Ice Room"'s stir-fried ice.
