Beijing Autumn Hiking | Mangshan Small Circular Route | Niche Route

|Mangshan Small Circular Line|Niche route. 🔎I originally wanted to see the red leaves, but I haven’t started yet!
Self-driving🚗Mangshan enters the parking lot 4 from Longmen, and there is a red leaf area nearby (not red yet)
✌The whole climb is easy, the difficult part is on the "Wuxuan Trail" (specific points below)
There are some small wild roads to refer to (Picture 12). The environment is probably like this, a bit eerie! There are trees blocking the sun, and the chirping of birds and insects echoes in the wind.
💡The route planned (yellow arrow in Figure 13) is a circular route. I want to see more in autumn, after all, the mountain is about to be closed.

✅Scenic Area Routes
🚗Driving: Parking Lot 4-Five Observation Terrace-Wuxuan Trail-Mountaintop Corridor (Closed)-Viewing Pavilion-Starting Point of Boardwalk-Back to Parking Lot
⭐Key points: Wuguantai-Wuxuan Trail (pay attention to safety on wild roads)
✅No-travel route:
🔻The small dirt road next to the restroom at the top of the entrance
🔻At the fork in the road, it is safer to walk against the wall (it looks like a sewer under your feet) and there is a dirt road below (it is easy to get lost, the fork is not obvious)
🔻Pay attention to the red road signs and red ropes on branches as the correct route (don’t get lost)
🔻I saw a dirt road and stone steps at the intersection of the red brick wall. Take the stone steps
🔻Continue walking and pay attention to the dirt road on the left. Taking the dirt road is towards the mountaintop promenade (the stone steps look a bit steep and scary) (Picture 11)
🔻Go to the end of the corridor (closed) and turn right up the steps
🔻When you see the wooden plank road, go straight, don’t go to the right (I don’t know where it is)
🔻Follow the wooden boardwalk to the viewing platform and return to the starting point of the wooden boardwalk
The wooden plank road belongs to the sightseeing line on the top of the mountain. The scenery is really good, but it is windy!
🙃I just want to know why not build a cable car🚡 or something, it’s really tiring!

✅Need to pay attention to the nodes (red shaded area in Figure 13)
① Take the Five Views Platform (directly to the top of the mountain) and don’t take the 1299 steps
② Walk towards the promenade along Wuxuan Trail (it’s a bit wild and has a spooky feeling) and the bathroom is at the intersection.
③Pay attention to the fork in the red brick wall
④Go along the stone steps and pay attention to the dirt road on the left hand side.
⑤At the summit promenade, please turn right at the end and go straight. Do not take the 1,299 steps to go down the mountain.

🏞Name | Mangshan National Forest Park
Address|No. 4, Mangshan Road, Changping District, Beijing
🅿Self-driving | Free parking
🎫Ticket|30

✅Friendly tips
🔸Do not recommend the wooden boardwalk and 1299 steps
🔸It is recommended to bring trekking poles, there are toilets only at the top of the mountain
🔸There is a small shop on the top of the mountain. If you carry people up the mountain, don’t worry about the price.
🔸Wuxuan Path is not suitable for very young children
🔸There is a step on the way down the mountain. I don’t know if 1299 is a bit scary (picture 11)
🔸Wear windproof clothes: the wind is really strong at Wuguantai and Phase II wooden plank road (Giant Python Swallowing Stone Road)
