Beijing Huairou Qinglong Gorge Guide (Beijing Suburbs Little Three Gorges)

⭕Address: North of Dashuiyu Village, Huaibei Town, Huairou District, Beijing
🎫Tickets: 54 RMB/person, book tickets online in advance, you can buy play items inside the park
🚗Transportation: Self-driving, navigate to Beijing Huairou Qinglong Gorge Scenic Area, we started early, no traffic jams during the National Day, it took a little over an hour on the highway
🛑Parking: There is a parking lot at the entrance (parking fee 20 RMB), the ticket gate is up the steps inside the parking lot, if the entrance parking lot is full, you can park at the temporary parking lot at the foot of the mountain, someone will ask if you want to take the shuttle bus (15 RMB/person), not recommended because it's not far
🈺Opening Hours: 8 AM to 5 PM (extended to 5:30 PM on weekends)
✔After entering the ticket gate, the sightseeing car station is on the right, the terminal is the dam, you need to walk a distance in between (one-way 15 RMB/person), the distance is 1.5 kilometers, you can walk, consider it a warm-up before climbing the mountain; after reaching the dam, enjoy the scenery and take photos, rest a bit and prepare to climb the mountain
✔Climbing the mountain, walking and stopping, takes about two hours, there is a tower halfway up where you can take photos, but the steps are quite steep; after reaching the top, we encountered a cat (dragging a gun and hanging a seal), there is not much to do on the mountain, you can overlook Yanqi Lake
✔Cable car down the mountain, 15 minutes, one-way 70 RMB/person, round trip 100 RMB/person, the longest cable car in Beijing, the scenery is good, recommended to experience
✔Highly recommended activities include bungee jumping 330 RMB/person, rock climbing 60 RMB/person, rappelling 100 RMB/person, speedboat 80 RMB/person, yacht 60 RMB/person, bamboo raft 50 RMB/person, bumper boats, internet-famous bridge. Rappelling feels good but is very quick; rock climbing requires core and limb strength, I gave up at 30 meters, if you climb up you get a rappelling ticket; bungee jumping is the most exciting, many people come for this, the highest bungee jump in Beijing, if you don't dare to try, you can watch from the middle platform, it's a bit scary if you are afraid of heights! After bungee jumping, you can buy the official video and certificate for 100 RMB/person; speedboat for six minutes, short time but when the speed picks up, the wind blows in your face, it's quite nice; yacht for twenty minutes, you can reach the Duobu Camp
✔Items to bring: ID card, hiking bag, tissues, wet wipes, garbage bags, hiking poles, iodine cotton swabs, band-aids, selfie stick, power bank, mosquito repellent, umbrella, snacks
⚠Lake Loop Trail: The round trip is about 10 kilometers, the front section is cement stone road, the middle section is a wooden plank road, and the last section is gravel road. The entrance to the lake loop trail is near the bungee jump in Qinglong Gorge Scenic Area, the end point is at Duobu Camp, you can exit the scenic area directly from Duobu Camp, if you return the same way, you need to return before the park closes, otherwise the entrance will be closed, you can also take a speedboat back to the starting point near Duobu Camp, the lake loop walk takes about three hours
⚠Duobu Camp: Mainly cave coffee, a place to check in and take photos, you can row there yourself (Duobu Camp has its own separate ticket, kayaking for one hour + coffee 188 RMB/person), suitable for camping, you can play for a whole day
✔Dinner was chosen at a nearby farmhouse, about ten minutes by car
🌈Climbing, playing activities, hiking, camping, choose the right season and weather, it's quite good
