I used to see a drum tower of Dong village on my way to work every day, and I found out it was a national park~ This time I finally went to the park out of curiosity!
📍Location: Chinese Ethnic Culture Park (near Chaoyang Olympic Sports Center)
⏰Opening hours: 8:30–18:00
🎫Tickets: CNY 45/person, available on site
🚗Transportation: Subway Line 10, Line 8; free parking 🅿️ is available at the south gate
🌟🌟The Chinese Ethnic Culture Park not only has natural landscapes such as ethnic minority villages, but also museums and exhibition halls; it is divided into the South Park and the North Park; the ethnic minority buildings are all built in a 1:1 ratio, which is very impressive!
🎆Featured areas:
✅Salar
Minaret in the style of a mosque
Various lilacs are in full bloom
✅Taiwan & Gaoshan
Gaoshan painted wooden fishing boats, those who have been to Lanyu know!
✅Korean
Traditional Korean houses
✅Ewenki
"Cuoluozi" made of birch bark, seen in the Greater Khingan Mountains~
✅Miao
Divided into mountain Miao and water Miao
✅Entrance
Banyan forest and buildings to experience the style of Xishuangbanna
⚠️Other tips:
🔥It is still a relatively niche place in Beijing, so there are very few tourists in the park‼️ You can take photos without being disturbed📸, it's so cool
🔥The park is like a small park, with all kinds of flowers and plants🌹 and cute geese🦢 near the Dong village lake~ haha
🔥If you catch an ethnic minority festival, there will be corresponding celebrations in the park, such as the Water Splashing Festival🤤🤤
🔥There are several small stalls in the park where you can buy snacks and drinks🥤, one in Dai village; one in Dong village, and a restroom🚽 near Salar and Taiwan areas
