Beijing Yanqing Wild Duck Lake | It is like a paradise in winter

Wild Duck Lake is also known as the "Little Erhai Lake in Beijing". Although it is a bit small, it is not an exaggeration to call it "Little Erhai Lake". Although the Wild Duck Lake is not far away, it takes two hours to drive there, and you will not be able to catch the sunrise. Although there are many wild ducks, they are afraid of people, and it is difficult to take pictures without a telephoto lens.
This lake in Side Park is perfect except that it is small. It is near Siyuan Bridge in the city. Just navigate to "Side Park". It is less than 1km away from me. I can go there during my morning jog and it is very convenient to catch the sunrise. There are not only wild ducks but also swans. They are artificially raised so they are very friendly and can be photographed from very close. There is a lake, birds, and reeds. Basically, the main elements of Wild Duck Lake are gathered together. Taking pictures is not a problem at all. It is a community park, free to enter, and not many people. Go early and the whole lake will be yours.

Route ①: Go down and turn right after entering the gate. Take the wooden plank road and you can go deep into the reed marsh.
Feed the ducks → take photos of the reed marshes → take photos of the lake islands → take photos of the reflection of Yanshan Mountain in the water - turn right at the end and walk along the lake road - take photos of Wanghu Tower - exit the gate, the whole journey is 2 kilometers
Route ②: Turn right after entering the gate and walk along the lakeside road. On a sunny day, you can take pictures of the snow-capped mountains. Go around the road and return to the gate. The whole journey is 5 kilometers.

📸Photography suggestions:
The lake is frozen, but the reeds are still beautiful. Just imagining it makes me want to create a literary film. It is recommended to take pictures at 3-4 pm, with warm light. If the weather is good, you can also take pictures of the sunset, which is particularly beautiful; bright-colored clothes or scarves will make the photos more beautiful~
