The Old Summer Palace, also known as Yuanmingyuan or Yuanmingyuan Park, originally called the Imperial Gardens, and sometimes called the Winter Palace, was a complex of palaces and gardens in present-day Haidian District, Beijing, China.

It was a large royal garden built in the Qing Dynasty. It concentrated the essence of Chinese garden art, integrated various architectural styles from the East and the West, and gathered various gardening techniques, which was the masterpiece of Chinese garden art and was known as the "Garden of Gardens" or "Oriental Versailles". After several large-scale destruction in history, only ruins remain, and it is now open to the public as a heritage park.
