The Great Wall of China @ Mutianyu Pass

This is a checkpoint about 70 kilometers away from Beijing. It is known as a checkpoint with good conditions and is also a very beautiful place to watch the sunset.

🚗 Travel: There are several ways to get from Beijing, such as taking a private car, taxi, or buying a one-day tour package. However, we chose to take the train because we wanted to experience the local life.🧳

There are two sides to this checkpoint:

1) The WSET side is a round-trip cable car for 140 CNY (100 CNY for a single ride).

2) The East side is a cable car with hanging legs and a slide down for a round-trip of 140 CNY (100 CNY for a single ride).

3) The West and East cable cars are clearly separated. If you want to go up both sides, you have to buy cable cars for both sides.

4) Or if you are fit and want the atmosphere, you can walk up and down. Save on the cable car fee.
