Anyone planning a trip to Beijing? Have you heard of the Beijing Pass yet?
This card was launched in July of last year, but many people may not be familiar with it. They may think that traveling to China requires only Alipay. Some people traveling with children or the elderly may find this inconvenient. This card can help!
❓Q: What is the Beijing Pass?
💡A: The Beijing Pass is a prepaid card designed specifically for international tourists. It aims to make it easier for them to make purchases during their stay in Beijing.
❓Q: What does the card cover?
💡A: It can be used for public transportation, including the subway, buses, taxis, suburban trains, and boats. It can be used to purchase tickets to over 30 attractions in Beijing, including the Summer Palace, the Temple of Heaven, the Great Wall, the Beijing Zoo, and Beihai Park. It can also be used in place of cash for purchases at participating department stores and shops. Street food stalls don't accept this card yet.

💡A: There are three ticket designs to choose from. The Great Wall and Temple of Heaven cards cost 100 yen, while the regular cards cost 50 yen. The actual card value is 20 yen. The remaining balance (80 yen and 30 yen) is the remaining balance that can be used.
❓Q: How do I top up my card?
💡A: You can top up your card at any Beijing subway station, either at vending machines or at counters. Top-ups start at 10 yen and can be capped at 1,000 yen. You can also download the Silk Pass app for iOS to top up online via your mobile phone.
❓Q: Why should I buy a Beijing Pass?
💡A: It offers half-price bus fares and a subway discount when you reach a certain travel limit. Discounts on admission to various tourist attractions.
❓Q: Can it be used outside of Beijing?
💡A: This card supports public transportation in major cities in China, such as Xi'an and Harbin. However, top-ups outside of Beijing can only be made via the app.
❓Q: Can I get a refund for any remaining balance on the card?
💡A: The remaining balance on the card can only be refunded within Beijing, and the remaining balance must not exceed 100 yen.
