The Summer Palace — a place you always want to return to

The Summer Palace in Beijing is one of those places I always come back to with joy 🌸

While the city is hot, here it feels refreshingly cool: shady trees, a light breeze from the lake, and every walk turns into pure pleasure. Despite the holiday season, it never feels crowded — the territory is vast, and everyone finds their own path.

A few facts for travelers:
it used to be the summer residence of Chinese emperors;
its main highlight is Kunming Lake, which covers almost three-quarters of the entire area;
make sure to take a boat ride 🚤 — the view of the palace from the water is even more stunning and majestic.

For me, this is the most special place in Beijing, and I believe everyone can discover their own atmosphere here.
