Luling Cultural Ecological Park is located north of Jizhou District, Ji'an City, Jiangxi Province, on the banks of the Gan River. Utilizing the land of Luozi Mountain and its flood detention area, the park spans over 4,000 mu (approximately 1,000 acres). The park opened on September 15, 2011, and was named one of the "Top Ten New Tourist Attractions in Jiangxi Province" by the Jiangxi Provincial Tourism Bureau that same year. In 2012, it was approved as a National 4A-level scenic spot.
The Luling Cultural Ecological Park is primarily characterized by hills, plains, and wetlands. Luozi Mountain, at 142.1 meters above sea level, is the highest point in the park. Luling Lake occupies a quarter of the park's area. Within the park lies Luling Lake, covering approximately 1,000 mu (approximately 1,000 acres). Luozi Lake is a tributary of the Ganjiang River.
The Luling Cultural Ecological Park boasts a greening rate of over 90%. Nearly 600 large and ancient trees were replanted from flooded areas, including the Xijiang and Shihutang water conservancy projects. Over 3,000 rare and endangered plants (such as yew, nanmu, and bamboo cypress) have been planted within the park. Over 40,000 trees, over 4 million shrubs, and 100,000 square meters of turf have been planted. The 40-hectare Luozishan Forest Park boasts rich vegetation, including a 3.3-hectare wetland landscape at the foot of the mountain, home to numerous aquatic plants such as reeds and lotus.
Boasting a subtropical humid monsoon climate, Luling Cultural Ecological Park is centered around Luozi Mountain and the 900-acre Luling Lake. Developed around the mountain and natural water bodies, the park boasts beautiful scenery and is a delightful place to visit in all seasons.
The Luling Cultural Ecological Park is divided into six major areas: the Luling Cultural Exhibition Area, the Luling Lake Scenic Area, the Ecological Scenic Area, the Comprehensive Leisure and Entertainment Area, the Riverside Scenic Area, and the Business Resort Area. Key attractions include the Fountain Stand, the Nine-Curve Bridge, the Lake Island, the Golden Conch Square, large-scale sculptures, the Folk Custom Museum and Cultural Garden, the Wenxing Tower, and the Luling Villa.
