Take a tour of Yuanmingyuan Park

🌉 There are many parks in China, but this is one we highly recommend. Although most of the buildings have been destroyed, it's a must-see for everyone. Looking at the ruins, you can only imagine the beauty of this place, witnessing the ingenuity of its architects, engineers, and exquisite craftsmanship. We can't do anything if war destroys it. We can only hope that the stolen artifacts will be returned to their proper places. Hopefully, one day, we won't have to see them in other countries' museums. For those planning to visit this amazing park, be prepared for a long walk. If possible, enjoy the maze. There are no restaurants in the park, but you can purchase snacks and instant noodles at the souvenir shop. The park is open late, but we don't recommend staying overnight unless you're familiar with the area, have a GPS, or a flashlight. The last time we visited this park was in 2015. We were lucky enough to see a black swan, but this time, we weren't so lucky. Perhaps there were too many motorboats on the lake. Nevertheless, Yuanmingyuan will forever remain in our memories because of its imperfections. Maybe we all need some time before we can truly appreciate it.
