Pocket Park - Beixiaohe Park


Beixiaohe Park is a comprehensive urban park located in the Donghu area of Chaoyang District, Beijing. It was formerly reserved green land and was constructed with investment from the Chaoyang District government in 2005. The park opened to the public for free on May 1, 2006. The park covers a total area of 225,000 square meters. In March 2007, the Beixiaohe Park management organization of Chaoyang District, Beijing was established, and in September of the same year, it was rated as a Beijing Boutique Park. In October 2024, the park completed a "One Park, One Flower, One Product" characteristic renovation project, covering a total renovation area of 51,500 square meters, forming landscape structures such as Cherry Blossom Waterfront, Cherry Blossom Valley, and Cherry Blossom Hall. Among them, Cherry Blossom Valley covers an area of 34,000 square meters, planting more than 20 varieties of cherry blossoms and setting up a non-powered playground. The park includes a riverside leisure area, children's activity area (including soft rubber flooring), sports and fitness area (free basketball courts, etc.), forest activity area, and a forest theater that can accommodate 2,000 people. In 2005, the Qing Dynasty Donghu Guandi Temple was relocated into the park.
