I stayed at the Jinglun Hotel during my trip to Beijing. It's a convenient base for sightseeing, offering a comfortable stay and a local atmosphere.
Location
The hotel is located in the heart of Beijing, close to subway and bus stations, and offers excellent access to major tourist sites like Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, and Wangfujing. For sightseeing, the hotel's convenient location allows you to explore efficiently without wasting time.
Rooms
The rooms were clean and had a simple yet calming interior. The city views unfolded from the windows, making sipping coffee while admiring the morning view exceptional. The night view from the higher floors was particularly beautiful, offering a panoramic view of Beijing's cityscape.
Service
The staff were helpful and friendly. Upon check-in, they provided me with a tourist map and helpfully recommended local spots and restaurants. English is also available, making it a convenient choice for international travelers.
Breakfast/Restaurant
The breakfast buffet was generous and offered a variety of dishes, from Chinese to Western, and was very filling. Savoring a little bit of local flavor makes this the perfect place to refuel before sightseeing. The on-site restaurant also offers authentic Chinese dishes like Peking duck.
Overall Review
The Jinglun Hotel offers both convenient sightseeing and a comfortable stay. Rather than being luxurious, it offers a calming atmosphere and good value for money. I think it's a hidden gem, well-known to those in the know, and highly recommended for first-time travelers to Beijing.
