A Little Autumn Delight｜A Cozy Stay in the Mountains on the Outskirts of Beijing, Soaking Up the Sun

Changping hides such a beautiful guesthouse, and I just found out about it.
Last week, I took my daughter to stay one night at the "Backyard" recommended by a friend.
Surrounded by mountains on all sides, it was so quiet you could only hear the wind and birdsong.
Converted from an old-style siheyuan courtyard,
it retains the rustic charm of red bricks and tiles
while adding the design sense of glass bricks and a metal roof.
The blend of old and new is just perfect.

We stayed in Room 5, Pillow Cloud,
a super large mountain-view Japanese tatami room.
The window view was so beautiful, truly sleeping with clouds as your pillow.
Maiya also loved this room,
playing happily by the window~

My favorite part was their courtyard!
On an autumn afternoon, playing with my daughter in the yard,
soaking up the sun, daydreaming.
The small courtyard even played folk music,
time passed slowly, very lazily and beautifully.
