Baishi's old residence, I lived nearby when I was a kid🏠
But I never actually went inside all these years!
📍 Address: No. 13 Kuache Hutong, Xicheng District, Beijing
⏰ Opening hours: Tuesday to Sunday 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM
🎫 Ticket: 5 RMB/person (really cheap!)
It turns out the master's former home is right here!🏯 An old-style siheyuan with red walls and gray tiles, the courtyard is full of flowers, plants, and trees. The autumn sunlight filtering through the leaves creates such a great vibe~
Right at the entrance, I was amazed by those vivid paintings✨
Who would have thought this shrimp-painting master was creating art right here!
The biggest surprise is the statue of the old man Baishi in the courtyard
It looks incredibly poetic against the red walls and green trees🌟
Every casual photo feels like a journey through time
Tips:
1️⃣ Plan about 1 hour for the visit
2️⃣ Better to come on weekdays when there are fewer people for better photos
3️⃣ Wearing Hanfu or qipao for photos makes for amazing shots
