3 Days Falling For Beijing: Dumplings, Palaces & New Friends 🥟✨

Day 1: Beijing is serving major autumn vibes right now — chilly AF, so bundle up! 😬🍁 First stop: the Old Summer Palace (Yuanmingyuan, 28 Qinghua West Road, Haidian District, open 7:00–19:00) and then the current Summer Palace (Yiheyuan, No. 19 Xinjiangongmen Road, Haidian District, open 6:30–18:00). The vibe here is all ancient elegance — seriously magical!

Spent the day chasing Michelin food recs because, duh, we only want the best!🔥 First dumpling rating: 7/10… Not mind-blowing, but definitely warms you up. Full deets for foodie inspo on trip.com.

Day 2: Started the day snapping pics at Tiananmen Square (East Chang’an Avenue, Dongcheng District, open 24/7). It’s HUGE and sooo iconic. Next, retail therapy at Sanlitun Mall (No.19 Sanlitun Road, Chaoyang District, open 10:00–22:00), plus a sweet pit stop for famous KUMO KUMO cheesecake (yum alert!). Swung by the Temple of Heaven (Tiantan Road, Dongcheng District, open 6:00–21:00) for all the dreamy, Zen vibes.

Absolute highlight: bouldering at 6pm (check local climbing gyms on trip.com for bookings). Met 2x2 new friends and got creative with our English-Chinese fusion convo ("nice, let’s go, ni ke yi") — everyone was so chill! Tried some Insta-worthy natural colored dumplings, giving them a solid 8/10.🙌

Day 3: Went big with a climb on Beijing’s famous Great Wall! (Start at Badaling section, open 6:30–19:00; ticket tips on trip.com). The views are straight-up epic — you haven’t lived ’til you’ve done this hike. The wall just keeps going… and so did we!

This city hit different in the fall — good eats, killer sights, and random new besties. 😎 Catch your ticket and itinerary hacks on trip.com for the smoothest adventure!
