This Maple Leaf Avenue in Beijing has really become popular. Even several days of cooling temperatures can't stop the enthusiasm for leaf viewing. On the weekend, I came to the Maple Leaf Avenue in Green Heart Forest Park and was amazed by the fiery red of early autumn at first sight, as well as being drawn into the bustling crowd of leaf admirers.
⭐️Highlights:
1. The most attractive feature of this Maple Leaf Avenue is its diverse and dynamic scenery. It is located on one side of a tributary of the Yudai River, where not only are there forests of red maples, but also swaying reeds and winding rivers complement the view. The world of red and yellow is like an autumn painting.
2. The Maple Leaf Avenue is not very long, about 100 meters, with two rows of maple trees arranged longitudinally, creating a sense of extension and great photo opportunities.
3. The open environment allows for walking or cycling, and pets are welcome. It connects seamlessly with the Green Heart Park in all directions, making it perfect for family outings, relaxation, and autumn leaf viewing.
🍁Leaf Viewing Tips:
🔸The best viewing period is late October. It is already fiery red now, with few fallen leaves, and is expected to last until early November.
🔸For photos, it's best to avoid weekend peaks as there are indeed many people. Apart from shooting upwards, it's hard to avoid passersby in the frame.
🔸Cross to the opposite riverbank for a different perspective. Viewing the red maples across the reeds and river offers an unexpectedly beautiful, layered scene.
🔸Taking photos among the reeds is also very photogenic. It’s recommended to shoot from the opposite bank where there are fewer people and better lighting. Besides reeds, there are also similar plants called saccharum flowers.
📍Address & Transportation: Maple Leaf Avenue is located at the intersection of Yunxing Road and Jingtang Road. It’s easy to find by spotting the fiery red from afar when driving. The P6 parking lot of Green Heart Park is relatively close, but you need to walk about six to seven hundred meters after parking.
🕑Opening Hours: Open all day for free
