Overlooking the city of Beppu, Mount Tsurumi is a beautiful mountain at 1,375 meters above sea level. This time, we took the ropeway and enjoyed the spectacular view from the air!

Upon reaching the summit, we were greeted by a sweeping panorama of Beppu Bay, Mount Yufu, and even Mount Aso in the distance. It was so moving, we couldn't help but exclaim, "Wow!" 🌊⛰️
The mountain's charm lies in its different expressions with each season: cherry blossoms in spring, autumn leaves in fall, and frost in winter.

There's also a walking trail at the summit, and it was so refreshing to stroll leisurely through nature. 🍃
Enjoy the scenery in peace by yourself, or stroll with your partner, taking photos as you go. Mount Tsurumi was a spot filled with healing and inspiration!

The Beppu Ropeway station is about a 20-minute bus ride from JR Beppu Station. The ropeway ride takes about 10 minutes to the summit.
