[Beppu] A hotel you'll want to come back to! Bayside Resort Hotel Yell!

The hotel I stayed at this time, Bayside Resort Hotel Yell, is conveniently located just a 10-minute walk from JR Beppu Station. As it faces the sea, it is a wonderful hotel where you can see Beppu Bay from the guest rooms and the hot springs on the top floor and 10th floor!

The concept of this hotel is "a hotel you'll want to come back to."

I stayed at this hotel and found it to be a wonderful hotel that perfectly matched this concept!

All the staff love their customers and are always smiling and talking to you! The signs in the hotel and the booklets introducing the hotel's facilities in the guest rooms are all handwritten, and the cute illustrations are apparently drawn by someone from the head office.

On the first day of my stay, when I arrived at the hotel, I was worried about whether it would be okay because the major hotel was next door, Oedo Onsen Monogatari, but I was relieved to find that this hotel had a wonderful weapon that the major hotels don't have: friendly and warm service!
During my stay, I had the opportunity to talk to other guests, and when I did, I asked them about their impressions of the hotel. They told me that they had stayed at this hotel several times, that the staff were friendly, and that this is the place they choose to stay when they come to Beppu.
It's really amazing that once you stay here, the warmth and charm of the staff permeates your mind and makes you want to stay again!

The room I stayed in this time was a twin room with an area of 25.3 m2. As you can see from the photo, it was plenty spacious for two people! The bed was large at 200cm x 140cm, about the size of a semi-double bed, so I was able to get a comfortable sleep!
This time, I experienced workation in this room for four days!

Workation is a combination of work and vacation, and means working away from home while enjoying local sightseeing.
That said, I'm a university student!
Since I only have a part-time job, I will replace my workcation work with university studies lol

The rough flow of the day during this stay was
5:30 wake up, walk to Matogahama Park → 6:30 hot spring ♨️ → 8:00 hotel breakfast → 9:00-13:00 study → 14:00-17:00 Yufuin sightseeing → 19:00 dinner at a local chicken restaurant near the hotel → 21:30 hot spring ♨️ and drinks 🍻 → 0:00 bed

That was it!

I didn't want to waste time because I was in the area, so I made an extremely busy schedule with my friend.

The hotel breakfast used a lot of vegetables that are often lacking in daily life, and was very delicious! The minestrone soup was especially delicious with lots of ingredients! It warmed me up even in the cold winter! This hotel's breakfast won the Grand Prix in the 51-100 rooms category at the 2021 Jalan Awards, so we recommend adding breakfast to your stay!

The Bayside Resort Hotel Ale where I stayed this time was truly the best hotel. It's a warm hotel that matches the needs of both travelers and business travelers!
