Bhaktapur’s stunning royal architecture

We had the pleasure of stopping by Bhaktapur Durbar Square and wandering through this beautiful historical district.
These buildings and temples have been so well preserved; it’s an incredible feat, and a testament to the locals’ appreciation of their royal roots here. It truly feels as if you’re walking amongst them in the time period they were occupied by royalty, which was around 14th century!
A lot of appreciation and respect towards the government and locals who value these structures so much, and take pride in their ancestors work to such an extent. #bhaktapur #nepal #architecture
