Shirahige Waterfall, also known as Whitebeard Waterfall, is a unique waterfall with numerous small streams of underground water flowing downstream, resembling the white beard of an old man, earning it the nickname "Whitebeard Waterfall."

We stood looking at the waterfall from the bridge and marveled at its sheer height and beauty. The water cascaded down into the stream below, surrounded by nature and lush greenery. It felt refreshing and clear, and the water was a beautiful blue.

If you're visiting Biei, don't miss this stop. Shirahige Waterfall is also a famous waterfall in Hokkaido.
