Shikisai no Oka, the Hill of Four Seasons in Biei

I visited Furano during my summer vacation!!
Compared to Tokyo, it was definitely more comfortable to spend time there. Although the lavender season had already ended, there were still plenty of attractions like other flowers, waterfalls, ponds, and delicious food to enjoy.
○ Shikisai no Oka (Approx. 1-hour visit)
This vast area is covered with blooming flowers, creating a breathtakingly beautiful view. I've visited many flower fields before, but the scale of this one is truly overwhelming! It felt like a carpet of flowers spread out before me. It's less than a 2-hour drive from Asahikawa Airport and about 1.5 hours from Sapporo! If you're visiting Hokkaido, I highly recommend this spot. Since the grounds are extensive and require a lot of walking, I suggest wearing comfortable shoes.
○ Shiraito Falls (Approx. 5-minute visit)
Located about a 5-minute drive from the Blue Pond. This waterfall, with its unique blue hue, is unlike anything I've seen before and is definitely worth a quick visit!
○ Blue Pond (Approx. 30-minute visit)
I visited around 10 a.m., so I was able to park without much waiting. The water in the pond was even more vividly blue than in photos! It was stunningly beautiful. Visiting in the morning meant fewer tour groups, allowing me to explore without any stress.
