Sapporo Trip - Biei

Biei is a must-visit destination on any Sapporo itinerary, but public transportation can be expensive and time-consuming. Therefore, I recommend signing up for a tour to visit Biei. Since the tours are almost identical, I recommend checking the prices and reviews of each tour and signing up for the cheaper or better-reviewed one.

1. Seven Star Tree
This tree appeared in an old Japanese advertisement for Seven Star cigarettes. While the Seven Star Tree is famous, the birch trees next to it are even more photogenic. I recommend taking a photo under the birch trees while you're at it.

2. Christmas Tree
You'll find a tree, often called the Christmas Tree, in the area. You might think it's just a tree, but if it's snowing, it's a truly stunning photo opportunity. Let's take a picture of your life.

3. Taksin Museum
Taksin Museum has two main attractions: a birch forest and a small gallery. Take a stroll through the birch forest and capture memorable photos, or warm up and enjoy the photos in the gallery. Let's try it.

4. Blue Lake
Blue Lake is a lake with water of surreal color. It's incredibly beautiful, so I recommend stopping by, but I wouldn't recommend going in the dead of winter, as the lake may freeze over starting in December. However, even when the lake is frozen, they do use beams to project color to make it appear as true to its original color as possible.

5. Shirahige Falls
Shirahye Falls boasts such breathtaking scenery that it's worth a trip to Biei just to see it. If you're looking for surreal nature, this is a must-visit.
