BOATING IN THE RED LOTUS SEA

The Red Lotus Sea (also known as the Red Lotus Lake) is officially known as Nong Han Kumphawapi Lake and is known in Thai as Talay Bua Deang. The lake, which is a large but relatively ordinary lake most of the year, transforms into a magnificent fantasy of gorgeous pink tones during the cooler months. Indeed, when the beautiful lotus blossoms are in full bloom, the scenery is breathtaking.
