Swiss Blue Lake

Blausee Naturpark, located near Interlaken, is a stunning lake with crystal-clear blue waters that change shades depending on the light. At noon, it glows a deep blue; in the afternoon, it turns a serene azure; and when fish swim through, the water becomes a transparent blue. Truly, it feels like a slice of paradise on Earth.
Though Blausee is relatively small, taking about an hour to walk around, photography enthusiasts might find even two hours insufficient to capture its beauty! Besides hiking around the lake, visitors can also take a ride on the iconic red boat. The lake's transparent waters make the boat appear as if it's floating in mid-air—an absolutely magical sight!
Nestled in a secluded forest area, Blausee is best reached by car. Alternatively, you can take a train to Kandersteg and then transfer to bus 230, which will get you to Blausee in about 10 minutes.
