Bled Island

Bled Island is a small, tear-shaped island in the middle of Lake Bled, Slovenia. It is home to the Church of the Assumption of Mary, accessible by a traditional wooden boat called a "Pletna", and features a staircase with 99 steps leading to the church. Visitors can also ring the "wishing bell" in the church tower, which is a local tradition at the place there.
