Preparation:
- Clothing: Large temperature difference between day and night. Transportation Guide
- External transportation: You can fly to Urumqi Diwopu International Airport, then transfer to Bole Alashankou Airport, or fly directly to Yining Airport; you can also take a train to Bole City Railway Station or Jinghe County Railway Station, then transfer by car; self-driving from Urumqi along the G30 Lianhuo Expressway for about 545 kilometers takes about 5.5-6 hours.
- Inside the scenic area: For self-driving, book in advance on the "One Mobile Phone Tour to Sailimu" public account. Single-day tickets are 143 RMB/person, two-day tickets 190 RMB/person; shuttle bus tickets are 75 RMB/person. In the off-season, the first bus is at 10:00, the last at 18:00, with one bus per hour; during peak season, buses run more frequently.
Ticket Information
Tickets cost 70 RMB/person, valid for 48 hours, and can be purchased online. Children under 6 years old or under 1.2 meters tall, disabled persons, military personnel, police, etc., with valid ID, are free or half price; seniors over 60 and students with ID get half price.

- One-day tour: Enter from East Gate - Internet-famous S Bay - Kele Yongzhu - Dianjiangtai - Waterside Beach - Moon Bay - Exit from North Gate.

- Qingshuihe Town: About a 30-minute drive from the scenic area, with many budget hotels, priced 200-400 RMB per night.

- High White Salmon: A cold-water fish unique to Sailimu Lake, can be served as sashimi or pan-fried, 100-150 RMB per serving.
- Grilled Lamb Skewers: Xinjiang specialty, about 3 skewers for 10 RMB.
