Brugge, a city with well-developed canals, is called the Venice of Belgium! It's a small town, so 3-4 hours is enough to explore the entire city :)
Perhaps because it's known as a pretty town, there were quite a few visitors on #package tours.
Bruges seems like a great place for solo reflection. Perhaps because it was a weekday morning, it was incredibly quiet. 😌
Bruges preserves the 14th-century European atmosphere, so you can see the architecture from that era with your own eyes. ㅎㅎ
You can also get a glimpse into the lives of locals holding flea markets in pavilions.
#CityCityHall! Belgian city halls are all incredibly grand and ornate💛
If you walk in from City Hall, you'll find the #Plaza. The photo doesn't capture it all, but it's truly stunning. ㅠㅠ
You can definitely see the vibrant atmosphere of people gathered in the center. :)
The shops are all unique and beautiful. 😆
Markt Square is also magnificent..!
At the time, the floor was being repaired, and I could see them individually attaching small bricks, like a mosaic.
Back on the outskirts, it was quiet. Houses were right next to the canal, beautifully decorated with flowers hanging on the walls.
The area known as #LakeofLove seems to be a must-see in Bruges! It's the perfect date spot.
Now, on to #Ghent - more on that in the next post!
