Spending a day in Bucharest, I focused mainly on the city center, where everything pulses with energy. Immediately upon arrival, I headed toward the enormous Palace of the Parliament - only up close does the monumental structure truly become apparent. Then I set off along Bulevardul Unirii, which leads straight toward the Old Town. In the narrow streets of Lipscani, I found a multitude of cafes and restaurants, perfect for a quick lunch and observing the city life. Along the way, I popped into Piața Universității and Piața Revoluției, where the weight of history is palpable. The contrast is most striking: stark communist-era apartment blocks stand right next to elegant palaces and modern office buildings. In the evening, the city center came alive even more - the music, lights, and lush gardens made it hard to leave. One day is not enough, but in the heart of Bucharest, you can feel the city's character.
