Buriram Provincial City Pillar Shrine

Buriram City Pillar Shrine is located in the heart of Buriram City, Nai Mueang Subdistrict, Mueang Buriram District, Buriram Province. It is believed to have been a resting point for King Rama I and the origin of Buriram. There are two city pillars here. The first pillar (leaning) was erected when the city was first established, while the second pillar was likely erected when the province became Buriram Province. The City Pillar Shrine resembles a prang, with a five-tiered spire and guardian deities of the four directions. Inside the central shrine is the prang, as well as Phra Suea Mueang, Theparak, and Phra Song Mueang. In the mornings at the City Pillar Shrine, there are shops selling delicious fried dough sticks, tea, and soft-boiled eggs. Stop by to pay your respects and have breakfast, it’s wonderful. #Buriram #GetDiscountsNotDependingOnLuck
