The Nakdong River Garden Cherry Blossom Festival kicks off today. The actual site is a 12-kilometer-long cherry blossom avenue consisting of more than 3,000 cherry trees. The flowers are currently only about three-tenths to five-tenths in bloom, and it is estimated that the most beautiful full bloom will not be reached until early April.
From the Airport Express Line's Guabe Station, there is an overpass connecting to the Nakdong Embankment when you exit the station. If you walk from Sasang Station, there is also a walking path all the way out of Exit 3, and it takes about fifteen minutes to arrive. The Nakdong River is the longest river in South Korea, with a total length of 525 kilometers. It originates in Taebaek and flows into the sea in Busan. The Samnak Riverside Ecological Park has been built along the river, and there are sidewalks and bicycle lanes on the embankment.
In addition to cherry blossoms, white magnolias and Korean forsythia, they complement each other. There is also a whole row of foodcars parked in the driveway where you can buy snacks to fill your stomach.
