#summervacay Finally checked out Beomeosa Temple and honestly? It’s got that perfect mix of peaceful energy and “wow this place is old” vibes. The walk up is already super nice, quiet forest paths, stone steps, and that fresh mountain air that makes you wanna deep breathe for no reason.
The temple itself is gorgeous. Colorful wooden buildings, lanterns hanging everywhere, and little details that make you stop and stare even if you don’t know anything about temples. There’s this calm, respectful energy all around, even the tourists whisper.
Found a quiet spot near one of the side halls and just sat there listening to the wind and distant bells. Could’ve stayed for hours, not gonna lie.
Also, you can hike up into the mountains right from the temple, which is awesome if you want to mix a little culture with some trail time.
Beomeosa isn’t just a quick stop, it’s a whole mood. Go slow, breathe deep, and let the temple vibes do their thing.
