🇰🇷Busan | Must try cold noodles 🍜

A perfect summer day in Busan isn’t complete without a visit to Haeundae — and that’s exactly how I spent mine. I started with a slow stroll along Haeundae Beach, where the waves were gentle and the boardwalk was buzzing with energy. Whether you’re dipping your feet in the sea or just enjoying the view, there’s something instantly calming about this stretch of coastline.

Just a few minutes away is Haeundae Traditional Market, a lively maze of local snacks, street food, and shops. It’s touristy but still full of charm — you’ll smell the hotteok and grilled seafood before you see it. I wandered through, picked up a few small bites, and people-watched my way through the lanes.

For lunch, I stopped by Gaon Milmyeon, a no-fuss spot specializing in cold wheat noodles, one of Busan’s signature summer dishes. The broth was icy, tangy, and refreshing — exactly what you need after walking in the heat. The noodles had just the right chew, and the simple toppings let the flavor of the broth shine. So satisfying, and so Busan.

From beach views to local eats, Haeundae is an easy day trip that really delivers — especially if you love slow travel and a taste of everyday coastal life in Korea.
