Honest Review of La Conti in Haeundae

I’m sharing my honest experience at La Conti, located in Cheongsapo, Haeundae, Busan. This place left a great impression with its freshly made pasta and luxurious ambiance.

■ Atmosphere and Space
- The restaurant is on the second floor, offering a quiet and cozy dining environment.
- The wine-displayed interior is stylish, and window seats are prioritized for reservations, which was a nice touch.
- There’s parking space for about four cars on the first floor, but it might feel a bit tight, so keep that in mind.

■ Food and Menu
- The chewy texture of the freshly made pasta, prepared daily, was particularly impressive.
- The wheel cheese carbonara, made directly from a cheese wheel, was incredibly rich, and the variety of oil-based, tomato-based pastas, risottos, and steaks were all delicious.
- The sauces for the pasta and risotto were unique, and the spicy tomato pasta stood out compared to other places.
- The Iberico Pluma steak was very tender and paired wonderfully with the mushroom sauce.
- The complimentary bread was flavorful but slightly hard, which might not suit everyone’s taste.

■ Service
- The staff were friendly, making the dining experience pleasant.
- They provided a high chair for children and responded promptly to every request.

■ Additional Notes
- The prices are on the higher side, but considering the food and ambiance, it was well worth it.
- It’s an excellent spot for special occasions like anniversaries or dates, and I’d definitely visit again.
- The restaurant is closed on Tuesdays and has a break time from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM, so it’s good to plan your visit accordingly.

One-line Review
A perfect place to visit with loved ones on special occasions, as it satisfies in terms of atmosphere, taste, and service. If the price feels steep, consider making a reservation outside of lunch or break times.
