Cost-effective 4-star hotel near Gimhae Airport

Although located in Busan, the hotel offers a tranquil island-like atmosphere, distinct from the bustling vibe of Busan, similar to how Songdo in Incheon feels different from the rest of Incheon.

Ideal for a short stay, especially for those catching an early flight the next morning.

💙 Room Types: Standard

The hotel offers various room types, including Standard, Deluxe, Premier Deluxe, Grand Terrace Ondol, Grand Ondol, and Grand Deluxe, with some rooms featuring traditional Korean ondol flooring. Standard rooms are located between the 5th and 12th floors, while Deluxe rooms are situated on high floors from the 16th to the 21st.

We were assigned a room on the 6th floor, and since we opted for the most basic room type, there was no upgrade. The receptionist's service was not particularly friendly, and the overall service did not meet the expectations of a 4-star hotel.

💚 Facilities

The hotel offers a gym, sauna, laundry facilities, and a swimming pool. The fitness center operates from 6 AM to 11 PM and is equipped with exercise mats, treadmills, cycles, and more, making it a pleasant place to work out before breakfast.

Laundry facilities are available on the same floor, with a self-service system requiring guests to purchase detergent. This is particularly useful for those using the swimming pool or staying for an extended period.

The swimming pool is located on the 5th floor behind the lobby but was closed during our visit. It operates only from June to September, so checking the schedule and days of operation is essential before planning to use it.

🩷 Breakfast

Shilla Stay is known for offering high-quality meals among 4-star hotels, so we had high expectations for breakfast. We visited around 6:30 AM and noticed that more foreigners seemed to be dining than locals. The breakfast spread was extensive, with a focus on Korean cuisine.

📍Shilla Stay Seobusan Branch

Compared to the Haeundae branch, the atmosphere and staff service mindset seemed slightly different. Considering the price and proximity to the airport, it’s a reasonable choice, but for a simple overnight stay, it lacks appeal.
