Busan Democracy Park Double Cherry Blossom Picnic💗💗

That day, I left behind my busy daily life and visited Minju Park. Initially, my purpose was simply to take a walk, but the spacious square and the various sculptures I encountered along the way naturally extended my time spent reflecting on history. Particularly, when I arrived at the Memorial Hall for the Democratic Uprising, the atmosphere felt as if time had stopped, leaving a strong impression on me. As I slowly explored the exhibition rooms inside, I saw photos of past student movements, worn-out items used at the time, and placards touched by citizens, which warmed a corner of my heart. After gathering my emotions, I sat on a bench next to the memorial hall and naturally began to reflect on myself, my surrounding society, and the future of South Korea. This place allows you to look back on yourself and deeply ponder the sacrifices and solidarity that have shaped the society we live in today. It’s a special space I want to revisit whenever I feel weary from the repetitive daily grind—a place to slow down and reorganize myself.
