Huinnyeoul Culture Village in Yeongdo

Huinnyeoul Culture Village is located on a steep cliff along the coast. Originally built by war refugees, the village was renovated in 2011 with the remodeling of old houses and reborn as a mural village. In recent years, it has become a popular tourist destination for Instagrammers and other photographers as a photogenic spot. There are also many ocean-view cafes in the surrounding area.

Location: Huinnyeoul-gil, Yeongdo-gu, Busan


Admission & Hours: Free, open daily. It's generally open 24 hours a day, with some exceptions, such as the tourist information center, having limited hours (e.g., 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM).

Access: Take buses 7, 71, or 508 from Exit 6 of Nampo Station on Subway Line 1. Get off at the Baengnyeonsa Temple or Culture Village stop. From there, it's a short walk.
